Wilderness Yurt near BWCA
Unique overnight lodging for those who desire the Boundary Waters experience and the comforts of a cabin. This spacious 24’ Yurt sits on 40 acres at the edge of the BWCA and is accessible by a half day canoe trip that takes you through the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Shorter canoe routes are available for those looking for less adventure, including a 3 hour paddle/portage right from Fenske Lake Cabins.

Inside the Yurt are pine wood floors, propane lights, stove, refrigerator, kitchen supplies, beds, dining table and chairs along with a wood stove for year round use. Outside you will find a deck, charcoal grill, fire pit and an outhouse.
Included with the rental are sleeping bags, packs, water bottles/filter, and a map. Kevlar canoes ($30 a day) and aluminum canoes ($20 a day) are available for rent.
