Voyageur Winter Carnival at Fort William Historical Park
This Family Day Weekend, winter fun awaits at Fort William Historical Park’s Voyageur Winter Carnival! Come dressed in your warmest and enjoy Northern Ontario’s largest winter carnival. Enjoy the new outdoor winter Zorb Ball track and human bowling alleys, giant snow maze, tubing hills, skating, wagon rides, winter games and activities, indoor and outdoor entertainment, and more! The action heats up as the Voyageur Winter Carnival hosts Northern Ontario’s debut Ice Dragon Boat Challenge! Join us as a competitor or come out and show your support for the athletes. Tickets can be purchased in person at Fort William Historical Park, 1350 King Road, or by calling 807-473-2344.
Fort William Historical Park is located minutes from the Thunder Bay International Airport, on King Road, approximately 4 kilometres (3 miles) west on Broadway Avenue, off Highway 61. For visitors coming from the U.S., Fort William Historical Park is only 30 minutes north of the border. Simply, follow Highway 61 north and turn left onto Broadway Avenue in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.
Ages Festival is Appropriate For
All age groups are welcome.
All contemporary facilities and public washrooms are fully accessible. Most historic buildings are accessible. Wheelchairs and strollers are available for rent at the Visitor Centre.
