Ontario Travel Information Centre
The Ontario Travel Information Centre is one of the first stops for visitors crossing into Canada at Pigeon River along the Ontario-Minnesota border with Grand Portage, Minnesota.
The Centre which operates seasonally from May to October is located 45 minutes south of Thunder Bay, a short scenic drive up Highway 61 through the Nor'Wester mountain range.
This provincially owned and operated visitor's centre has information and travel counselling services available for every corner of the province. Maps, brochures, pamphlets, guide books, souvenirs; you name it, they have it.
Bilingual? Don't worry, that's not an issue either as they are a completely bilingual visitor's centre.
Aside from travel information services, the Ontario Travel Information is also an outlet for Ontario Hunting and Fishing licenses, as well as non-resident Crown Land Camping Permits.
Situated in the Pigeon River Provincial Park, you will also find access to the Pigeon River Boundary trails and the famous High Falls right from the parking lot! What might seem like a small pit stop, actually has lots to offer for the whole family!
Handicap Accesible, Bilingual
