Northern Waters Smokehaus is a unique gourmet specialty market and eatery located on Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota. They are just as committed to using local, sustainably raised meats and fish as they are to hosting plenty of friendly food conversation. The eclectic little shop is filled with smoked fish, handcrafted smoked meats, artisan salami, and unique deli sandwiches.

The Smokehaus has been featured in "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" and their wares have been lauded in many publications, most recently The Minneapolis Star Tribune and Lake Superior Flavors.

Smoked fish and meat preservation is a very old tradition around Lake Superior, and the Smokehaus expands on the area's history by updating recipes and utilizing unique flavors to create innovative products. They are inspired both by the diversity of the area's culture and the expanding global connectivity in today's culinary landscape.

The deli at Northern Waters Smokehaus is located just a stone's throw from Lake Superior, and many customers grab sandwiches and smoked fish to-go and picnic on the Lake's banks.

Going to the Boundary Waters or Quetico? Taking a multi-day hike? Northern Waters Smokehaus has several types of dry cured sausages that are shelf stable and taste great, even late in the trip.
