Koochiching County and Bronko Nagurski Museum
The Koochiching County Museum includes artifacts from the early native cultures that populated the area thousands of years ago. There are displays on the early fur trade routes and system that brought European settlement to the region. You will find information on the subsequent development of the area as a trade and manufacturing center.
The Bronko Nagurski Annex includes information and artifacts related to native son Bronko Nagurski who rose to fame as an early NFL star. Along with displays of artifacts, there is a short film biography of this favorite son.
The entry and display areas are handicap accessible.
