Hull Rust Mine View
Hull Rust Mine View is temporarily closed for relocation and people should check ironrange.org for updates.
Hibbing, Minnesota is the site of the largest open pit iron ore mine in the world. It is 8 miles long by 3.5 miles wide. Stand at the edge of the pit and see the "Grand Canyon of the North." The awe-inspiring view is often accompanied by trucks and shovels working the pit several hundred feet below. Observation deck offers a truly "birds-eye" view. Onsite park features mining equipment visitors can explore. Group and Bus tours are welcome.
