Heart of the Continent’s Science Committee is continuing its mission to build and strengthen a coalition of scientists, land managers, and stakeholders dedicated to the preservation of natural and cultural resources across the Heart of the Continent landscape. Our 2nd symposium held in Duluth MN hosted a great mix of posters in the evening after a landscape modeling workshop at Superior National Forest's Headquarters. Oral presentations were the next day at UMD.
The Heart of the Continent Partnership is a Canadian-American coalition of land managers and local stakeholders working together on cross-border projects that promote the region’s economic, cultural and natural health of the lakes, forests and communities.
