Heritage Park & Campground
Heritage Park & Campground is open from May 1 to October 1. The facility is located on the Embarrass River and includes tent and RV camping sites, modern shower house, bog walk, paved bike and walking trail, exercise course and a pavilion. Walking distance to the Nelimark and Pyhala Homesteads which are part of Embarrass' Heritage Homestead tours.

Driving Directions
From Virginia: Hwy 53 North (4 miles). Right on Hwy 169 N (go 6 miles). Right on Hwy 21 E (go 13 miles). Right on Salo Rd (just past the fire department). Campground is 1/2 mile on left.
From Ely: Hwy 21 S to Babbitt (13 miles). Hwy 21 W to Embarrass (13.5 miles). Left on Salo Rd (just past ball fields and Nelimark Homestead). Campground is 1/2 mile on left.

Pets accepted on leash on in kennel. Paved walking trail available for walking pets.
