Offers 10 modern lakefront cabins, 2 offshore cabins, and a 9-site private campground with water and electric hookups. In winter, renowned nordic ski center with 70km of private cross-country ski trails.

Driving Directions

Take Interstate I-35 or I-53 to Duluth, Minnesota. Travel on Hwy 61 to Grand Marais, MN. From Grand Marais, turn left onto the Gunflint Trail (County Road 12) and continue for 27 miles. This will bring you to Clearwater Road (County Road 22), turn right and continue for 2.5 miles. Then turn right onto private drive. Continue for 0.7 miles and arrive at destination. Large signs reading "Golden Eagle Lodge" are at the beginning of Country Road 22 and the private drive.

Eco-Friendly Notes

Recycles all plastics, glass, tin, aluminum, and cardboard. Boats use 4-stroke motors with low fuel usage and emissions. Cabin bathrooms use low flush toilets.

Pet Friendly Notes

Pets are allowed in the campground and in approximately half of the cabins. Pet fees apply to both.
