Finnish Labour Temple
The Historic Finnish Labour Temple at 314 Bay Street in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada was built in 1910 by Finnish Immigrants. It is now a National Historic site.
Intended as a community meeting place it originally housed a theatre, a library and a reading room.
Today, it continues to serve as an active, thriving cultural centre for the Finlandia association of Thunder Bay and its affiliated groups.
It is home to the internationally renowned “Hoito” restaurant, a Museum and the Bay Street Film Festival, comedy, dance and music.
