Ely Folk School
The Ely Folk School is a non-profit community education organization that offers short courses on traditional crafts and skills. We connect people who have hands-on skills associated with our community's heritage with others who want to learn those skills. We feature cross-generational, non-competitive learning (no credits, no grades). We also host community events such as dances, demonstrations, and other activities.
Our mission is to build community by providing learning experiences that celebrate the wilderness heritage, art, history, culture, and craft of the people of northern Minnesota.
