Cross Quetico Lakes Tour
After a lot of discussion, it our regret that we are cancelling the event. There will not be a film festival, although the Path of the Paddle may postpone and may announce a later showing. Like most recent scheduled events with the spread of the COVID 19 outbreak we felt we should also do our part. We are cancelling the Cross Quetico Lakes Tour that included dinner and bus shuttle and the REEL Paddling Film Festival.
All funds will be returned to those that pre-registered.
Having said that, I feel there is hardly a place safer for people to be than out on the wide open frozen lakes of Quetico Provincial Park.....
*Therefore, there is an open invitation to meet at Nym Lake Public Landing Saturday March 21st at 8 am central to do an informal ski to Batchewaung and Pickerel Lakes and returning through the Racer Portages to Nym Lake - (no bus, no dinner, no registration fees) 35+ km, social outing.
Feel free to contact me if you have questions or comments - Chris Stromberg -tour coordinator
Registration at bottom of the page - all funds will be returned if we have to cancel
This year we are including an additional tour route within the Dawson Trail Campgrounds for those that would like a shorter distance but can still meet up with the other group at the end of the day, take in a ski, meal and REEL Paddling Film Festival. For all routes please register at the bottom of this page.
