Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center
Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center lies within the 18,000 acres of Boulder Lake Management Area and fosters connections to natural resources through education, research, and recreation. Formal environmental education at Boulder Lake ELC ranges from K-12 students to college and post-graduate students, and professional development for teachers and natural resource managers. Public or non-formal environmental education at Boulder Lake ELC focuses on empowering adults, families, and recreational users with increased awareness, understanding, and skill related to sustainable natural resource management. Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center is a partnership of University of Minnesota Duluth, Minnesota Power, and Saint Louis County Land and Minerals Department.
